The Dishwasher is Never Actually Empty Mentality

Found this on the interwebs (author unknown)…

"My father-in-law shared this rule before I married his daughter: 'The dishwasher is never empty.' It means there's always something you can do to help around the house—whether it's emptying clean dishes or loading dirty ones. It's not about perfection but about pitching in when you can.

My wife and I use it as a reminder to support each other in keeping things organized, and our kids see it too, learning that teamwork and helping out are just part of family life."

Milton Wright - “Let ‘em fly”

Milton Wright wasn’t just a bishop—he was a father who nurtured two of the most adventurous spirits of all time in his sons, Orville and Wilbur Wright. These dudes legit changed history.

From bringing home a simple flying toy that sparked their curiosity to watching them tinker with bicycles and printing presses, Milton encouraged their mechanical fascinations.

Even while weighed down by financial struggles and personal loss, he supported his son’s dreams. And when their flying experiments finally took off, Milton, at 82, proudly soared with them, shouting, “Higher, Orville, higher!”

Anker Portable Charger, USB-C

Not sure why I held off on getting a power bank for so long, but I finally snagged one on Amazon for $25. It’s super slim and gets my iPhone mostly charged in under 30 minutes. Get it here.

15-Minute Beach Cardio Workout

Ready to break a sweat on the sand? Whether you’re on vacation or live by the coast, this 15-minute high-intensity routine mixes strength and cardio for a full-body burn.

The soft sand ups the ante, making your muscles work overtime to keep you balanced. But if you’re not near sand and want a quick burner, the pavement works too.

Here’s the deal:

  1. Warm up, then measure 20 yards with your feet.

  2. Sprint those 20 yards.

  3. Drop for 10 pushups.

  4. Sprint back and hit 10 jump squats.

  5. Repeat, decreasing by one rep each time until you hit 1 pushup and 1 squat.

Rest when needed, hydrate, and then dive into the ocean for a well-earned cool down.
