Howdy crew,
Back in action after a week slashing powder in Utah (still got it). Thanks to everyone spreading the word - seeing some serious traction from your email referrals. If you've got 3+ signups through your link, shoot us your address for that swag pack.
Quick reminder: our Friday BUILD section needs your projects. Garages, workshops, half-finished ambitions - we want to see what you're creating.
Let's get into it.

📕 DAD WISDOM
Not a Straight Line
We spend so much time talking to our kids about goals. What they want to be. What they want to do. Where they want to go. All good stuff.
But maybe the more valuable lesson is teaching them how to pivot when those plans fall apart. Because they will.
A lot of us aren't doing what we thought we'd be doing at 18. Or 25. Or even 35. Life isn't about following a straight line - it's about adapting when the road suddenly forks, closes, or disappears entirely.
Our kids need to see that success is more than sticking to a plan. It's responding to what life actually gives you instead of what you ordered. It's finding your feet after the stumble. It's rebuilding after the rejection.
The most resilient people aren't the ones who never fail - they're the ones who know that failure is just a data point, not a destination.

BADASS DAD
Patrick ‘Ham’ Renna
Before he was teaching his own kids how to field grounders, Patrick Renna was showing the world "how to s'more" as Ham Porter in the cult classic "The Sandlot." Now at 45, the Boston-born actor is embracing the role of dad.
Despite his status as a '90s icon, Renna keeps it refreshingly real about fatherhood, describing himself as a "C-plus, B-minus dad" – a humble take from someone who's turned his parenting experiences into a children's book, "A Little Slugger's Guide to the Unwritten Rules of Baseball and Life."
From the sandlot to the suburbs, Renna's carrying on the American tradition of passing down baseball wisdom to the next generation – though presumably with fewer "You're killing me, Smalls!" moments.

DAD TOYS
Hair Stuff
Not a sponsored post, just a product we've been digging: Highland's hair products. Two guys (Boone and Ben) got fed up with all the chemical garbage in typical hair products and started cooking their own clay pomade on a Denver apartment stovetop. #respect
The result? Their Pomade holds like a champion and it’s good for your hair and scalp. I’ve used a lot of hair products over the years. This is the real deal.

20-Minutes. No Equipment Needed.
Need to torch calories but can't find the time? Meet Tabata - the workout protocol that delivers more results in 20 minutes than an hour of regular cardio.
The magic formula: 20 seconds of all-out effort followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated for 4 minutes. Do four rounds with simple moves (squats, jumping jacks, push-ups, lunges) and you'll burn up to 360 calories while actually changing your genes for better endurance.
The best part? No equipment needed, and you can do it anywhere.
